I visited Japan in 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2025. This most recent trip was the first time I saw a glimpse of Fuji.

⏩ All that to say, don't feel down if you plan to see Mt. Fuji and it just doesn't happen. It just means you get to go back to Japan and try again 😉

☕ The 8th floor has a cafe and a great observation terrace. When Nakamise street gets busy, hit up this terrace by taking the elevator to the top floor.

💰 The terrace is FREE to visit!

Rainy morning in Asakusa at Senso-ji 🌧️

‼️Get to Senso-ji early to beat the crowds, bonus if it's raining, there will be even fewer people!

My top tip for Senso-ji is visit before Nakamise opens or after dark. You are guaranteed smaller crowds.

⏩ Over the years I've really come to love visiting at night. While the temple itself isn't open to go inside you can still explore the grounds and it's gorgeous when lit up at night!

Old Town Dubrovnik! ♥️

Dubrovnik, in my opinion, is a must visit city. The old town and surrounding area are absolutely stunning!

‼️Don't skip waking the city walls, if there is one thing you do in Dubrovnik make it walking the walls!

Walking the city walls takes 2-3 hours and it gets busy, so show up early!

☀️ Make sure you wear sunscreen, there is very little shade and it can get hot up there.

🎫 Purchase a Dubrovnik City Pass to get access to the walls as well as a bunch of other really cool locations in the city!

⏩ Check out Fort Lovrijenac outside the city walls for a great view of the city!

Malcesine is a cute little town on the shores of Lake Garda with a castle sitting on a rock right in the middle of town!

Spend a nice afternoon wandering around the town, and stop for lunch at 🍴Bar Pizzeria da Pedro

Don't skip visiting the castle! It's a great spot to explore and has amazing views of the lake from the walls and tower.
